Cookie Policy

Last Updated: August 16, 2026

This page lists everything this website stores in your browser, who sets it, why, and how long it stays. It covers cookies and the two other storage areas browsers provide — local storage and session storage — because the rules that protect you apply to all three, not only to things technically called cookies. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains what we do with personal data more generally.

Our careers site at careers.rekreatedigital.com is covered by the same Privacy Policy. The job application forms — there and on this site's /careers page — may be protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, an anti-bot check that, when enabled, can set a short-lived Cloudflare cookie while it confirms the form is not being submitted by a script.

Your choice, and how to change it

Everything except the strictly necessary items is switched off until you turn it on. You can change your mind at any time, and withdrawing is as easy as accepting — use the button below, or the Cookie Settings link at the bottom of every page. We ask again whenever this policy changes in a way that affects what you agreed to.

Strictly necessary

Always active. These do not identify you and are the minimum needed for the site to work and to honour your own privacy choices.

rk_consentCookieRekreate Digital (first party)The same cookie choice, stored once for the whole brand. Because browser storage cannot be read across different hostnames, this cookie is set on rekreatedigital.com so our careers site honours the answer you gave here instead of asking again — and so a refusal follows you too. It records only whether you accepted analytics, and it never switches on any other category. A choice you have already made on the site you are visiting always takes priority over it.180 days

Analytics

Off until you switch it on. Google Analytics is not loaded and Google is not contacted at all unless you accept this category.

Our own page counter stores nothing in your browser. Separately from Google, we run a small first-party counter (we call it Kodex) that sends the page address, the website you arrived from, any campaign tags in the link, and whether your screen is phone, tablet or desktop size to our own server at api.rekreatedigital.com. It writes no cookie and no storage key of any kind to your device, and the reference it uses to group the pages of one visit exists only in memory and disappears when you close the page. To count unique visitors, our server may derive a daily-rotating, non-reversible hash of your IP address and browser and store only that hash — never the IP address or browser identity themselves — so it can count you within a single day but cannot recognise you across days. Because it stores nothing on your device it runs without needing consent, but it stays silent if your browser sends a “Do Not Track” signal or if you have chosen Reject All here.

Functional

Off until you switch it on. Our chat assistant still works without this — it simply forgets the conversation on your next full page load.

The map on our contact page is hosted by Google. It is not loaded until you accept this category or press “Load map”, because loading it shares your IP address with Google and allows Google to set its own cookies.

Advertising

Off until you switch it on. We run no advertising or social-media tracking pixels on this website, so this category currently sets nothing on your device.

What this toggle does control is the instruction we send to Google. When analytics is switched on, we tell Google — through its consent signals ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization — whether your analytics data may also be used for advertising measurement and personalised advertising. Leaving this off denies all three.

Controlling this in your browser

Your browser can block or delete cookies and site storage for any website, including ours. Clearing our site data will also delete the record of your cookie choice, so we will ask again on your next visit. Blocking strictly necessary items may stop parts of the site from working.

We honour the “Do Not Track” setting for our own page counter, and Google Analytics is never loaded unless you accept the analytics category.

Changes and contact

When we add, remove or change what we store, we update this page and the “Last Updated” date above. If the change affects what you agreed to, the preferences panel reappears so you can decide again.

Questions about this policy can go to [email protected]. Our full contact and data-protection details, including how to exercise your rights, are in the Privacy Policy.
